Bowmore 1966

A remarkably rare product with only 232 bottles made, the Bowmore 1966 spent 50 years in a single oloroso sherry cask. The whisky was the first to pass through Bowmore’s then-new steam-heated stills in 1966.

To release the product to market Bowmore required a luxurious presentation box and embellishments.

Using innovative and contemporary sterling silver production, we packaged Bowmore 1966 in a handmade crystal decanter. Decorating with a five piece sterling silver collar, we finished with plating and lacquer with sterling silver badges for the bottle and oak cabinet.
