Engraving
Engraving can help to enhance your silver piece making it more unique and meaningful. On most of our homeware and accessories you can add engraving whether it be initials or a corporate logo.
ENGRAVING FONTS AND CHARACTERS
We offer 7 different fonts and can engrave up to 40 characters on the majority of our products.
When choosing your font, think about the piece that is being engraved and how it will look. We always say, keep it simple!
For engravings that are initials or dates we strongly recommend choosing one of the clearer fonts such as Garamond 3L or Roman 2L.
On each product we give advice on placement and the maximum number of characters for engravings. Please try to follow our recommendations where possible.
On all in-house engravings we use a mechanical engraver which is suitable for all types of metal. If you’d like one of our wooden boards engraved, we use a very reliable local woodworker, who uses a laser engraving machine – Prices may vary slightly, please get in touch if you’d like a quote.
Single Letter: £10.00
Up to: 4 characters: £15.00
20 characters: £20.00
40 characters: £40.00 – We charge £1 for every additional character thereafter
A standard Logo is charged at £40.
Please note, some requests will be POA.
CORPORATE LOGOS AND FAMILY CRESTS
To have artwork engraved, please upload an image and provide instructions in the ‘Engraving Description’ box. Images must be submitted as a jpg, eps or png with a minimum size of 1024 Pixels.
Please provide a vectorised image to guarantee that the quality of your engraving is clean and crisp.
BESPOKE ENGRAVING
If you are thinking of a more intricate engraving, it’s best to contact us prior to placing your order so we can have a chat and advise.
We will always double/triple check spellings, placement, dates etc before we engrave anything. For special commissions we always send artwork for your approval prior to work being carried out.
*Please allow for up to 7 working days for delivery if you are having your item engraved. If you are concerned about meeting a deadline then please get in touch with us to discuss, we will try to accommodate.
