Description
Sterling Silver Beaker
These Silver Beakers are made from hand-worked sterling silver with feature punched scattered Edinburgh Hallmarks or more simply hallmarked on the underside of the base.
Inspired by traditional Antique Georgian sterling silver beakers, this beaker has a plain round body with tapering sides, a reeded top border, and collet foot with reeded border.
The beakers are especially suitable for gracing a bespoke *car boot cabinet, made by cabinet makers BALINDORE in Fife, in any number of sets x 6/10/12 or more; they are boldly numbered on the inside bases and can be gilded on the insides [this not only produces a beautiful effect but it neutralises the slightly metallic taste of silver which some don’t like].
The outside of the silver can be left highly polished, ideal for engravings such as initials, names, Crests of even Coats of Arms; anything that can be copied from the artwork. The alternative finish is that of a hand-beaten treatment [as illustrated] which helps to obviate finger marks.
Sold as a set or individually, these beakers are made to order. Please get in touch to discuss.
