Sterling Silver Thistle Quaich
Silver Thistle Quaich made from Sterling Silver with feature thistle handles.
History of the Quaich:
Traditionally the Quaich was a symbol of hospitality, peace and friendship. It is a shallow drinking cup with two handles on opposite sides. At clan gatherings and family occasions, they were used to offer a welcome drink (usually whisky). At weddings, the Quaich symbolised the shared love between a couple and the coming together of their families. Today the Quaich is still gifted to mark important occasions, they are especially popular for christenings, weddings and anniversaries. They also make lovely retirement gifts or trophies.
